David Eldon

I can only suggest that you read David Pilling's article in today's Financial Times, look at what has been happening to private enterprise during the last 30 years as well as the stock market recently, in addition to looking up the definition of capitalism and you may get some broader perspective of what I am talking about.

"Whether China is _beginning_ to look as capitalist as Hong Kong"?

Have you been living under a stone for the last 20 years, Mr. Noddle?

A wonderful read, Mr Eldon.

Hi David,

Thanks so much for the thought-provoking write-up! It serves as a wake-up call for me.... I used to focus pretty much on big pictures (as least I thought I was). But after OC last year, my thoughts have been too narrowly confined into HK/China affairs. That is dangerous!!

Cheers! Kevin
